Solid deal. The Floyd is roughly $200 and the Pickup set is $145 so you are looking at $345 value just on these parts alone. If this is the type of guitar you are looking for it would be hard to beat.

Seconded on the solid deal if the color is your thing.

I got one of these in green a little over a year ago. I've always played the old Made in Japan Jacksons and was hesitant to try these ones from the Mexican Fender plant, but am very happy with it now. It feels much more high end than the Japanese ones I've played but the action is a bit different (maybe doesnt feel as fast). Paid $600 on sale for mine and thought it worth every penny.

Edit: one thing I might add - the guitar is more punchy and responsive than many I've played, like you can really feel the 'momentum' in the action, especially doing palm mutes. I don't know if it was just the cut of wood or due to the satin finish not dampening the vibrations as much as a poly (hard gloss) finish.

To add to what's been said, this also has an ebony fretboard (although I've never heard of the body wood). A very nice build, crazy good price.

Fender Mexico plant does some killer work too. I just asked the lady if I could order and was promptly shut down.

And 10 minutes later ordered.... You guys are going to be the death of me.

laugh out loudlaugh out loudlaugh out loud - GAS has no filter, even with the lurking wives...

I am definitely not in the market for a shredder, but this is a great deal for the features. While I am more of a classic/proggy rock/blues (grand?)dad-rocker who likes the more "traditional" styles, I would be willing to put up with the yardstick-like neck profile on this one...hmmm...this, or the Gretsch I really want??? Wink

I'd be all over this if I didn't pick up a mahogany Pro Dinky just a couple months ago.

I recently bought a Charvel with this same burgundy mist finish - it looks really nice in person.

Mine arrived today. Packed well and mostly in tune. Action is high so will have to adjust. Haven't plugged in yet. Only complaint is sharp fret edges, but it's a 2018 so probably sprouted in a dry climate.
