I have these and think they're pretty good overall. Only cautions would be that these are NOT workout headphones and the microphone on calls isn't great. They're not certified water resistant, and a coworker I know who has them had one die on him while doing yardwork for this reason.
Have you done the latest firmware update? That is supposed to improve the microphone quality quite a bit. [youtu.be]

Update them. I have had a few calls with them, and my coworkers say they can hear me crystal clear.

I had the same issue. The most recent update mostly fixed it but still a concern. Other than the temporary sound cut offs they're pretty good earbuds
I had the in-and-out as well. Resetting and updating fixed it for me.

This is so much better than the first gen headphones. But they do cut constantly when switching between noise cancellation styles (I think you can toggle this though in the app). Noise cancellation works wonders when flying or working in a shop with loud machinery (sanders, air filtration etc)

I bought mine used like new from amazon and just replaced the tips and wiped down with alcohol. No issues!

That's interesting. I was planning on using them for mowing, but maybe that's too risky. Hmm, the ANC was somewhat the point.
They will fall out (and get chopped). One solution is wearing ear muffs outside these ear buds. Worked great for me.

Yeah, I was worried about that. Part of my goal with these is not having to wear an over-the-ear headphone or earmuffs while mowing in Texas.

I bought them for the purposes of mowing, and just tried them out for the first time this weekend. Previously, I had to put my volume at max with my last headphones (non-ANC), and felt like it was damaging my ears. So I picked a refurb pair up for $90 on flea bay and put the comply tips on. Result... Played a podcast and listened to music with turning up the volume to just before you get the warning and didn't have a problem at all. The ANC kept the riding mower down to a slight buzz in the background. Sound quality was good, but agree with the other reviewers that it skips occasionally (not that bad though). I'd buy these again in a heartbeat... my eardrums are thanking me for the purchase!!

Haven't had them for a long time, but used them for about 5-6 hours so far while mowing, doing outdoor work, walking through store, and I haven't had a single concern about them falling out. It could also be that the Comply tips help a lot with form fitting your ear...

Excellent. Thanks

I have another pair of Bluetooth in-ear headphones that fit really well, and have a better seal than these so far with the stock tips, but they're older and I do have to turn it up somewhat loud but can still hear a podcast for music. I'm hoping that, like you, the ANC will allow me to have lower levels of volume to be a little gentle around my ears, and that the touch controls will be easier and I really like the ability to hold my ear to temporarily allow audio pass-through.

what size of the normal tips did you use, and what size of tips of comply did you get? Are you using the mode to optimize connection or optimized sound?

Reset and updated firmware. I still get sound cutoff occasionally on some android devices, and I've also been told the mic quality is rough from people on the other end.

ANC is pretty good and can drown out a white noise machine by my bed. Haven't tested on airplane yet cuz covid but that's really why I bought them.

Going to grab some t400 comply tips because the foam ones they come with are quite poor

Which Comply tips did u get? I'm willing to risk killing mine with sweat but don't want them to fall out when I 'jog'
I got these off of scam azon: Comply Isolation Plus Memory Foam Earphone Tips for Sony, Replacement Noise Reducing Earbud Tips with WaxGuard, Comfortable Secure Fit (Medium, 3 Pairs). If you don't know your ear size you can get the mix pack.

I never tried the tips that came with these since I bought refurb and didn't want to risk it. However, I typically use medium tips for the silicone ones, and used medium with the Comply tips and had no problems. Perfect fit.

The touch controls are great; however, I wish they let you control more than two things. I have mine set to Ambient sound/ANC on the left and Playback controls on the right. I wish I could add Google Assistant too, but it works decently when I just say 'Hey Google' since my voice is picked up by the phone.

I haven't optimized sound to full extend (you can take pics of your ears and stuff) since it requires use of apps I typically don't use. I stick to Spotify.

Nice. Thanks.

Yeah, I want those three and volume control. I wish you could assign each single, double, triple tap on each side.

I did that picture thing, and they were pretty much like "cool thanks". I don't use the supported 360 options either and didn't read well enough I guess.

I own these. They're very nice once you get a good fit. Excellent sound quality. I've not taken or made too many calls with them in, so I can't say how good or bad it is. I didn't get any complaints from the person on the other end.
I think the only issue I have is with the fit. You won't be running in these.
