Mint Mobile runs on the T-Mobile networks and supports the usual features like wi-fi calling. You need an unlocked phone that works on the T-Mobile network. Reports indicate phones locked to T-Mobile will also work.

Taxes: Best Buy will collect any applicable sales tax just like any other item, but since this is prepaid you won't need to pay the usual taxes/fees to the provider.

I doubt, I got 5gb plan sticker on my 8gb plan but not 3gb marked one (up from 2gb I think)

Any known issues with Google Voice on Mint? With the low data per month i'd use the call forwarding option to whatever number they give me.

This is how I use Mint, and I have had no trouble. I don't actually forward Google Voice to the Mint cell#......I just use Google Voice natively, and make calls through Google Voice over LTE or wifi.

Best Buy charges sales tax plus 911 prepaid fee. Works out to be about the same cost on Amazon, which charges neither.
