Primarily need the drill and impact; are the brushless options that better? The brushed impact seems stronger on paper.

For me the ATOMIC kit was comparable to this one for the drill and driver. Drill in this one is slightly better, driver in other is slightly better. But in both kits it is negligible.
So I figured for the extra $70 you get the flashlight and sander and the batteries are 2.0 instead of 1.3.
I needed a sander anyways so it's almost like getting a discount on the sander, the flashlight for free, and slightly more powerful batteries.... for me anyways.
