Has been cheaper before but is below the average. I need one as the weather is changing and this was perfect timing. Looks like it comes with everything needed to get going ( batteries, charger, etc).

That was almost twice the cost and doesn't use the same greenworks 40V batteries many people own. Owning this mower and a much heavier Honda self propelled gas mower I take the Greenworks out most times. Good deal, not the best it has been. I picked it up last July for 220 + Tax

EGO deal is still live

Ego is a little too rich for my blood at the moment but this one is not much less than the self propelled one posted yesterday.

I think what I'll send up doing is (risk it all) pickup a 1-2yr used Kobalt 80v since some are dirt cheap around me

60V would still has better performance. The self-propelled 60V is back in stock for $320.

Any thoughts on how much of a step up this would be compared to the Ryobi 18v 16-inch machine? That's what I have and while it's been great, if my lawn gets very tall it bogs down pretty easily. Was looking at the 60v Greenworks, but it's tough to spend over $300 and only get one battery when this one gives me a backup. I'm planning to get a string trimmer to use whatever batteries I get with a new mower, and the 40v system is quite a bit cheaper.

tl;dr Is this a big leap from the 18v Ryobi, or will I regret not going all the way to 60v?
