American Airlines have round trip airfares travelling from Detroit (DTW) to Cancun, Mexico (CUN) for $173-$176, making 1 stop. These are basic economy fares but also a flexible travel fare. While in Mexico, I recommend staying at all-inclusive resorts for value and convenience.

Travel Availability:
Departs DTW: Aug 1-31; Sept 1-30; Oct 1-31; Nov 1-10
Returns: wide and great availability returns

FWIW doubt it affects tickets but AA will likely file for bankruptcy protection after CARES money runs out.

do you have a source? a crystal ball? don't start rumors. fwiw, other ultra low-cost airlines will fold before a "big 3" airline. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

AA is leveraged higher and burning through cash at unsustainable rate. Both Delta and United are better positioned but still in trouble. I say this but am also ExPlat on AA.
