Not a great deal. The HP deal that was widely available for $499 back in December had similar specs.

Have a link to a current, better deal?

It's time for a new pc and I don't have the time or desire to build one, this time. While my motherboard gets wonkier and wonkier, my cheap self keeps scouring Slickdeals in hope but, everything's been around $1k lately.

Unfortunately there hasn't been many deals on prebuilts lately given supply and demand, but I would suggest waiting out just a little while longer as the new AMD CPUs and GPUs are rumored to launch this summer, and possibly the new NVIDIA GPUs this fall. This could mean big price cuts across the board, but if you need a new desktop now, I would suggest seeing what open-box prebuilts your local Best Buy has, as they tend to have great deals on them.

EDIT: If you're lucky enough to live near a Micro Center, they often have great in-store only deals on a wide range of desktops.

I'll check out Best Buy, thanks for the help! MC is a bit far so, might have to call in advance and ask for help.
