Best price I've seen it. Hoping it goes to $250 when Pixel 4a is released (July 13th) but for those who don't want to wait here you go.

Pixel 3a is also $279 on Google Store: https://store.google.com/config/pixel_3a

3a XL still regular price at $479 for some reason

Hear the news about some key personnel leaving the company issues at Google on Pixel... Hope they got it under control.

Storage on phone is so 2010.
They try to make money and collect your files via cloud storage.

I have a 64Gb phone with a SD expansion slot, and I never even use the 64gb.

I don't know what people are storing on their phones, but I don't need that much.

Of course, I use Google Photos and regularly clear stuff from local storage.
I try to clear my photos, but never use google photos. Nope, not going to do it. I've related this story here before, but when they announced the unlimited storage at Google I/O years ago I cringed as others "clapped and hooted" their support (note, no longer unlimited for most, but it doesn't matter for their purposes). The guy showed how they used tensor flow (AI) to determine where you were, who you were with, and using facial recognition, to find you even in other people's pictures, or if you had aged and lost your hair (as the presenter had).

IOW, they were building a dossier on people without their knowledge, and especially their consent or intent when they uploaded.

Google is an invasive, pervasive POS these days. I have the motion sensor turned off in my phone and get constant complaints from google. Why do they need to know if I walk from the front yard to the back yard? They don't, but they do was to track patterns, behaviors, and in the end, use it against you to make money. Google photos is nothing more that a big data collection operation under the guise of them being "generous". They're not. They're users, plain and simple.

Perhaps I'll use google photos again, but I'll just take pictures of dog butts, dog waste, etc. Then that POS Sundar can sniff my pictures all he wants. F'em....

I do not even use cloud storage and yes, everyone is trying to make money.

Bought 3a for $350 with $100 Amazon gift card in the month of December / January. Looks like that was a better deal.

The OnePlus 6T deal seems to blow this out of the water.

2010, really? How would you know? Did your mom give you a phone?

There appears to be a large ignorance threshold in this thread and some can't cross it...

Sigh...I despair for the future of this country...
I'm older than you and what do you need the storage for? I will then explain why you are wrong.

I'm wondering if the OnePlus 7 Pro is worth $130 more then the Pixel 3XL. Still happy with my 6T but wife's phone died. Going to give her my 6T. I thought about the reg 3a but think I want the XL if I go that route.
7pro. Hands down. Both great phones. I'm a Google fanboy and I think the 7pro is a great phone. When I purchased my pixel 4xl my other choice was the 7pro. I love my pixel, but oneplus has been on my radar since they work on Verizon now

It has a much crappier camera. If the camera is important to you, the OnePlus 6T is not a contender.
