I'm an existing happy Tello customer who joined back in Nov with this same deal. Mine is ending this month end. Is there any way to hop out hop back into this plan easily.

Do I have to give them any personal info like address or name to activate? Would buy if can be used as burner but I don't want my personal info associated to account/phone line.

What problem did you have and how did you resolve it? I don't want this to become a norm when I sign up with Tello. Thanks.
i too have same issue and so i can give what i faced. when charging your account with $0 due to promo applied for 6 months, for some reason, payment got denied and it struck there. So i sent email to customer support and it resolved in 15 mins. However i havent noticed this issue for 15 days !!!!
They also sent email about payment issue which i missed to read. i faced this issue only once this month and for the past 2 months no issues. Sprint is good so far with both call and data

DoctorLecter: I am still on the 3 month Mint-Mobile 3-month-for-free-SuperBowl deal, so I would argue that context is everything. There have been several good deals since then (e.g. RedPocket AT&T 1-month for $5, etc). I will not list them all, but YMMV.

I've had both Tello and Mint and have to say I prefer Mint for the coverage and service in my area. However, Mint's cheapest plan had 3 gb of data which I just don't need or want to pay $180/yr for so I am looking for an inexpensive plan with not that much data. Red Pocket maybe?

After my 3 months on mint I switched to this plan . I am in the metro Detroit area and mint was much better. I use a pixel 3a and voicemail is still goofy on it. When this plan is over I am definitely switching back to mint. Can only wifi call on tello through the app on outgoing calls. Overall experience was better on mint but for this price and the fact im mostly indoors these last few months it's enough to get by.

Amazon has the sim kit for a buck (from time to time). Or directly from Sprint online/local store for $3

get 'em while they are hot https://www.amazon.com/Sprint-Sim...07SWDX7BF/ $1

Check the pic on left for part numbers but I've used several of them on my phones, maybe moto as well. Also Best Buy phone dept can help if you have the part number.

Horrible service and customer service. Mint mobile is way better. I had both.
weird, I've had both and Mint was 3 years of headaches with both their customer service and the T-Mobile network (calls not ringing, texts not appearing). previously had Tello before that with no issues, now have Tello again on the previous StackSocial deal for $42 with absolutely no issues, 3 months in.

I've read more then once that, for some reason, Sprint data does not work on the unlocked Visible Moto E6. Also, you definitely need a certain Sprint sim card. I think the part# is listed in this Reddit thread:

This is a good deal, and Sprint service has been fine for me. A few caveats about Tello though:

- Once my service randomly got cut off at renewal time. They had sent an email saying they were unable to charge my credit card, but since the balance due was zero, I didn't pay attention. Deleting and re-adding my credit card (exact same card) in the online account seemed to fix it, or maybe the email I sent to support, not sure which since I did both at the same time. If you get an email like this, don't ignore it.

- When the above happened, I tried to call support several times and couldn't reach them at all. After holding for a few min, I was told that nobody was available and the voice mailbox was full. I had a brief moment of panic thinking that they had gone out of business. Other people have reported good customer service, but it certainly wasn't good on that particular day.

- I get no voicemail notifications at all when using an unlocked Pixel phone. Support has not been able to resolve this. We've tried everything except a full factory reset of the device. Voicemail worked fine when using an LG phone previously (which was a Sprint device).

Do they send the Sim as well, or you would need to buy the Sim?
I have a 4 month old Sim, will that work? TIA...
