This is a good deal, and Sprint service has been fine for me. A few caveats about Tello though:

- Once my service randomly got cut off at renewal time. They had sent an email saying they were unable to charge my credit card, but since the balance due was zero, I didn't pay attention. Deleting and re-adding my credit card (exact same card) in the online account seemed to fix it, or maybe the email I sent to support, not sure which since I did both at the same time. If you get an email like this, don't ignore it.

- When the above happened, I tried to call support several times and couldn't reach them at all. After holding for a few min, I was told that nobody was available and the voice mailbox was full. I had a brief moment of panic thinking that they had gone out of business. Other people have reported good customer service, but it certainly wasn't good on that particular day.

- I get no voicemail notifications at all when using an unlocked Pixel phone. Support has not been able to resolve this. We've tried everything except a full factory reset of the device. Voicemail worked fine when using an LG phone previously (which was a Sprint device).
Currently using a pixel 3a on tello with the same voicemail problem. It's a little annoying to have to call your number to see if you have any new voicemails. Majority of my talking is done through text messages now but still just a pain having no notifications

nice, super useful. I've simplified things here, once had up to six Tello phones on one Google Voice number. Six phones ringing at once was a bit much.

I think they have family plans now but before I would use the google dot trick to start new accounts.

Yes, you can. Porting to Tello should work for everyone ASSUMING you have a Tello-eligible phone. Check it here: https://tello.com/bring_your_own_phone

I used Tello for 2 years before the merger, in central part and most of the places in San Diego, the internet was okay, but recently I start to see really slow internet in populated places, plan to switch to something else.

Can i call and use the internet at the same time?

I'm on the $25 sprint kickstart and after 2 years on sprint, I'm a convert and I hated sprint so much I filed an FCC complaint in 2012 that ended in a $50k fine for Sprint. I only came back because it was free for a year and Verizon AND AT&T didn't work at all in my house. Like step outside and boom incoming 4G onslaught, wifi only and why pay $150 a month to call over my own dang wifi.

Anyways sprint works great here, went to Mexico and Honduras last year with zero issues, i pull 80-300 down 15-100 up with a 40 ping or so on my s10+u.

It simply drives me absolutely nuts that I can't call and use data (GPS, work, email, Google) at the same time like I did on every other carrier since 2011 and with no hot spot there's no point in unlimited data since everywhere has free wifi or I'm at home on my own. Bonus this is a great incentive to not buy myself an S20 5G just because I want it and it's new.

Tldr I'm really high and just wanna know what's the speed like in Orlando and can I call and use Facebook at the same time?

I'm post paid sprint and I'm having the voicemail issue too. I honestly thought it was a phone thing (my s10+ had the dud microsd slot from the box too) and if I call *86 or hold 1 it gives me an error.
Any tech people know if that means it's big brother tmobile sprint that is the issue?

Bought this recently and they didn't activate it... And charged me for the next month too. Stacksocial was no help. Tello said I chose the wrong thing, but other people have had the same issue

In this deal, do I get the SIM card as well? Is that SIM card free? Do you ship the SIM for free? Or should I collect the SIM from any nearby store?

What problem did you have and how did you resolve it? I don't want this to become a norm when I sign up with Tello. Thanks.
First month didn't renew. Tello CS said they had an issue with the Stack Social not renewing. Took like 2 minutes for them to fix it.

2nd month was an issue with my payment method. Received an email about it but I prepaid for 6 months so didn't worry about it. Service then stopped. Called CS and they said there is no issue so they reset something. Took about 5 minutes. I had a nice chat with the CS lady about working from home.

I've read more then once that, for some reason, Sprint data does not work on the unlocked Visible Moto E6. Also, you definitely need a certain Sprint sim card. I think the part# is listed in this Reddit thread:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Tello/co..._on_tello/ [reddit.com]
I can confirm that I wasted MANY frustrating hours unsuccessfully trying to get a Moto E6 to work on Tello. Tello finally admitted there was no hope of getting it resolved and after enough back and forth with Tello & StackSocial, my StackSocial payment was refunded. That phone is now up & running with US Mobile and all is well.

But I'm back to considering this deal for another family member who needs very minimal service. I'm going to hope that the E6 issue was an anomaly and Tello will work this time with a different phone. Fingers crossed!
