Currently using a pixel 3a on tello with the same voicemail problem. It's a little annoying to have to call your number to see if you have any new voicemails. Majority of my talking is done through text messages now but still just a pain having no notifications
i have a Note8 unlocked and with the same issue. Never get any notification when there's a new voicemail. Customer service simply told me to reset my VM password and can't help after that. I went to a GV number after that to be able to use with Tello.

Says Memorial Day Weekend Blowout on their homepage. So maybe Sunday or Monday?

Can i port a non-sprint number to tello on this plan?
buzzmanYes, you can. Porting to Tello should work for everyone ASSUMING you have a Tello-eligible phone. Check it here: https://tello.com/bring_your_own_phone
you can also port a Sprint number to this plan. i've just done it couple weeks ago.

Activation required within 30 days? Anyone able to get that extended?
My red pocket expires in 60 days and wondering if I should get this.

i'd purchased this same promo about 8 months ago, but didn't use the coupon code from StackSocial. i tried to activate the coupon code a couple weeks ago and it was accepted by Tello. Maybe i just got lucky, or they do not enforce this 30 days activation requirement. thinking about taking another gamble and buy this promotion and use it after my 6 months are up.

Hi,

Thank you for posting this deal.

I'm technology challenged.

What SIM card would I need to use my unlocked Verizon iPhone 6 Plus? What size SIM card?

Does Tello charge to port a phone number?

Thank you.

I can confirm that I wasted MANY frustrating hours unsuccessfully trying to get a Moto E6 to work on Tello. Tello finally admitted there was no hope of getting it resolved and after enough back and forth with Tello & StackSocial, my StackSocial payment was refunded. That phone is now up & running with US Mobile and all is well.

But I'm back to considering this deal for another family member who needs very minimal service. I'm going to hope that the E6 issue was an anomaly and Tello will work this time with a different phone. Fingers crossed!
The Moto E6 will work on Tello with the 516 Sprint sim card but it will only get 3G data. You have to change the setting from LTE to 3G.

In this deal, do I get the SIM card as well? Is that SIM card free? Do you ship the SIM for free? Or should I collect the SIM from any nearby store?
I have read that the StackSocial deal includes the SIM card. Even though it might initially say $10 for the SIM, Tello will send it for free.

My questions for those who have done this before: can you get the free SIM and still port in a number? How does the timing of that work? If I start the port on the 29th will I get the double data deal for the first month, even without the SIM card in hand?
