Buck Knives 0110BRS [walmart.com]

Available online and in some stores (YMMV). Free shipping with $35 order so need a filler. I added the Ozark Trail Fillet Knife, 6" [walmart.com] for $2.97 to get free shipping. Two great deals with free shipping. Scored the trifecta!!!

Great graduation, Father's Day gift, or any occasion. I received one as a groomsman gift many years ago. I didn't use it much but it was probably the most memorable gift in my life because it is a genuine Buck knife. It's something that any boyscout wants to own. Unfortunately, I lost it during a military exercise but I have just replaced it. Might be a nice touch to have it engraved too in case it ever gets lost.

QA Edit: Stock for shipping may be regional. If OOS for you try another zip code if you can.

Honest question to fellow knife users/enthusiasts: Aside from nostalgia and supporting US made products (and I totally respect people who buy US products for those reasons), is there really any practical merit to carrying this knife? I have a Buck Marksman and love the strong lock, but am I missing something about the popular 110? I realize it's difficult to find a $35 US made folding knife, but if a buyer is ok with foreign-made knives, there are so many safer, more efficient opening, locking, and closing mechanisms in modern knives.

Yeah because you can get your Spydercos and Benchmades at $35. Reality is your designer knife is just an accessory, much like your mom's purses. Rolleyes
Well my $1000 knives are indeed accessories 😄. But for under $50 I think there are better options here. Each to their own I guess.

Way overrated knife. Just because your grandad used one does not make it any good in today's market. Poor steel, heavy and uncomfortable.

Treat yourself to a Spyderco, Benchmade or Kershaw with S30V steel instead.
Lol..poor steel? Best you stick with the $9.99 Chinese knives from eBay.

A knife that can be passed down to the next generation. Rock solid knife and great price.
And they have auto kits.

"Whoa! Grandpa was so cool! He turned his Buck into a switch blade!"

Hate to break it to you but for anyone into knives, this is very much a low end knife.

The person you responded to listed 3 other knife brands, Spyderco/Benchmade and Kershaw are American knife companies. Spyderco and Benchmade make knives that are well into the hundreds of dollars with vastly superiors steel. S30V is a far better steel than the HC420 used in the Buck 110. I own a 110 to round out the collection but you simply can't put it in the same sentence as say a Spyderco PM2. The knife in this deal is much closer to the Chinese $10 knives you're talking about than anything from Spyderco or Benchmade.

I sure hope the world is done with china for good. It will take time, but I don't want to buy anything made in that country....
Just think about all the cheap crap that has been bought over the years from China and now we realize we paid a premium price for that junk.

$10 more will get you a much more useful knife , Leatherman wingman, made in the USA.
Smaller and lighter, about the size of the buck 112, but a quality multi-tool with knife blade.

I have a 1975 Buck 110, I never use it, I always carry the Leatherman.

I wasn't familiar with the Spyderco PM2 so did a google search and learned it's a $160 knife.

Absolutely. My dad gave me one 30 years ago. Still as solid as the day I got it.

Seems like a good deal. I just purchased the smaller version (the 112) for $22 in 1977. I'm looking at it right now.

You're not wrong! I still have the one my grandfather gave me in the 90's!

Sorry little girl, but I think you're the little not-too-bright snowflake (is there any other kind?).

Maybe next time you'll have some CCP talking point ready to go? That would be a hoot... Wave

Big man, I don't have to say a single word, you are too good at making yourself write like a complete fool. laugh out loud
