Actually I got my 55 C9 OLED at an awesome price, around 1100 new from B&H Photo back in december. In fact, I'm pretty sure this is where I found the deal.
75" we are talking

How the hell do they still make 60hz TVs. Damn cheap bastards
Name one console, video card, or set top box that does HDMI 2.1.

Once 2.1 becomes standard, you'll just complain that the TVs are overpriced, so there's really no winning.

Man...these 75" prices are dropping like flys. Are we gonna see 75" IPS panels for $500 for name brands at Black Friday this year? Wouldn't be surprised since most retailers have been hit hard due to Covid so I think we'll see some really good deals this BF.

I bought a 70" 4k Sony last year at BF for $899 and I thought that was the deal of the century!

Any word on whether this is an RGB-W panel?

If it doesn't do full 4k, that might explain why it's so cheap.
According to SD User LEOMHK "LG recently stopped its RGBW panel scam."

Don't buy any TVs below 8000 series from LG.

Why are they even still making TVs with a 60Hz refresh rate? At this point putting a 120Hz processor in TVs would cost the manufacturer like 8 dollars. 🙄

The product photos on Walmart's page and LG [lg.com] show 4 HDMI inputs, with one of them being ARC. Is your post incorrect, or Walmart/LG's product page?

Seems like most of the issues on the reviews are from damaged product upon delivery. 🤔
I'd guess it comes down to scale. $8 * 500,000 units (yes, I made that number up) = $4M.

I can't find any reviews for this thing. How does it compare to the TCL R615?

It would end up costing you, the consumer, at least $700 in total for that "$8" processor.

There are no devices on the market that can output 120Hz over HDMI, which means you'll be buying a brand new console, video card, or BluRay player to view 120Hz natively.

And unless you're watching content shot or rendered at 120Hz (nothing is shot at 120Hz in 4k yet and you'll need an extremely expensive PC to do 120Hz gaming at 4k), it's as useless as the "120Hz" interpolation soap opera gimmick found on a lot of TVs.
