Yeah, I have this P516 and the P571 and the 571 is definitely way superior and I actually have this alert to get another P571 since I am sure I am gonna kill my P571 some day (clearing a lot full of trees with it now) Applause
Warranty is good for 3 years, I wouldn't worry about back ups

I used this so much. It's great for branches, PVC, rough cuts on wood, etc.

Is $69 a good deal for the circular saw? I've been looking for a combo with that and this reciprocating saw..

the brushless version (P517) actually has weak locking mech and doesn't work well with Diablo blades.
I've had a diablo pruning blade in mine for weeks sawing all kinds of random things and haven't had any issues.

Cutting Into drywall with a reciprocating saw is a bad idea. It cuts through whatever it touches very quickly. That means piping, electrical, etc. just use a box cutter with a sharp blade. Easier to patch anyway.

Yes if you're doing a big demo. I prefer to use my multitool with 180 blade for most smaller jobs around the house.

How much drywall are you cutting to need a full size reciprocating saw?! If you don't have an oscillating multi-tool, stick to a jab saw or razor knife unless you know there's no live electrical or plumbing, etc. behind the drywall you're cutting.

If this is the model I'm thinking of, reviews I read on it before finding a killer deal on a Milwaukee SuperSawsall ranked it on par or better than the comparable DeWalt as far as cutting speed and amount of vibration transmitted to the user. Got rated pretty often as the best value for homeowners and occasional DIY work by a mile.

Plan to lay down some LVT, is it too big a gun to cut some tiles or just right?

I as well. Though I only used it about 2-3 times cutting exhaust pipes and metal without issue.

I'd like to use a jab saw to cut a hole for box on existed wall. Otherwise you can use utility knife to cut it. This one is too sharp and if any mistake is made you will regret
