Does anyone have experience with this machine? How does is stack up against those machines that automatically grind beans and make espresso?

This is an OK deal. The Classy Mini usually sells for more, but....Just my opinion, I think the Classy Mini is way too small. 5 capsule waste bin and a .2L water tank. You will end up dumping the used capsules and filling the water tank far too often. I promise you that if you drink coffee on a regular basis this will become annoying. if you have "zero" counter space, or if it's for your summer cottage it would be a good choice. This isn't a criticism of the Lavazza BLUE system. I love Lavazza BLUE. I'm a huge advocate, hands down better than Nespresso. IMO, considering taste and capsule cost, it's the best. BLUE is 40 to 50¢ per capsule (sometimes less). The Illy Iperepresso system might be better (everyone loves Illy, am I right?), but Illy is egregiously expensive. If you want a good Lavazza BLUE machine the LB 901 is a very good choice, twice the capacity of the Classy Mini and cheaper. You can find capsules for the same price as this deals discount. ItalyBestCoffee (seller) featured the LB 901 for $49 for a very long time, but I don't know if we'll see that price again. I realize you get a hundred capsules with this "deal", but that's only worth $40 to $50. If you subtract the capsule cost it's actually around $89 for the machine. You can easily find brand new LB 901's on Ebay for $89, or less.

I agree. Lavazza quality and taste hands down. Actually that's only coffee brand that we use in my household. Different aroma varieties though. Not completely sure where but I found somewhere online that Lavazza Blue caps contain more coffee per gram compared to Nespresso branded capsules. Nespresso has 5.5 grams of coffee in it's regular capsules and Lavazza BLUE capsules vary in from 8 to 9 grams of coffee per capsule depending on blend but also comes in doubles that really contain 12 grams of coffee. Putting taste aside where Lavazza is to me superior compared to Nespresso, amount of coffee that Lavazza puts in their caps is considerably more. In this case more is absolutely better. Lilly coffee to me isn't even in the same league with Lavazza and Nespresso. Just my personal opinion and experience.
