I use this product all the time in Phoenix, AZ and we haven't had snow or ice in the time that I've lived here so to me, it does its job well.

Actually does work well for snow but like anything else it needs to be reapplied every so often as it does physically wear off.

Good products, bad company
The pollutants from the manufacturing of those "good products" are literally giving people that live near the factories cancers and other illnesses. Buying these "good products" only encourages more of DuPont/Chemours disgusting behavior.

Not DuPont. DuPont poisoned the whole world. Watch "Dark Waters." Corporate greed is real.
Interesting. If people were harmed...i hope they get resolution. Frequently what happens in these situations is that companies dump stuff in legal concentrations and then it is later found they are harmful and becomes legal.
Where I live in upstate NY..some farmers have had their property and wells destroyed by road salt that is used on roads all winter. Sometimes 50,000 lbs per mile per winter. They are being given the total run around by the government even though you can easily test for salt and that is the only place it comes from.

Road salt is not the only source of salt found in groundwater.

Why don't they use calcium?

It was absolutely from the road.. no one contests it.

They do now..but it varies by region.
