Amazon shipping speed sucks nowadays.
Indeed, seriously considering putting a pause on the membership. May even go every other month. S&S doesn't require Prime, does it?

OP you need to put M.2-NVMe in the title. This looked like a plain ssd at first.
Just did as suggested. Thanks!

Agreed - NAND price will keep going down so buy only if you need now

Depends where you are and where the product is that you ordered. I cancelled prime because there was not one item that got to me anywhere near "two day prime shipping" speeds.

Can someone recommend an adapter for this? I dont have a slot on my slow pos desktop.
Also what's best software to migrate my shit. Like acronis? I know I should clean install but I will do that later after taxes are filed :-0

This is a MUST have device. 500GB with HeatSink is a must the 1TB is Soldout 2TB is overkill.

And a 2TB 860 EVO is all I need.

The HeatSink keeps the NVME about 10 degrees Celsius cooler.

A while back I snagged a second NVMe even though my one spot was already occupied. I bought a PCI-E NVMe to X1 adapter. Speeds aren't any better than a regular SSD but the IOPs match my x4 NVMe drive. The x1 speed feels just as fast if you aren't looking at a benchmark.

I live 60 miles from an amazon warehouse, at first my shit was slow to arrive when the corona blew up but it has been improving. I'm an essential employee as well so I have sympathy for the warehouse folks. As others have said, depends where the warehouse is. The slow link in the chain now is Usps
