This seems to be one of the lowest prices yet for the 500GB SSD! It seems to be backordered/delayed, but you can still order it at the moment.

The same deal is/can also be price matched on Newegg, Newegg on eBay and Best Buy.

P.S: As with all other Amazon deals, you may be able to getanother 20% off with a Discover card -- YMMV.

No need to price match to Newegg: someone has already posted Newegg's deal for the same drive.

for those with older dell laptops, this may not fit, it uses NVME , some older Dell laptops can only take SATA III

It's been this price on several occasions. Each time I'm tempted to buy it (I've been on the hunt for a deal for weeks), I remind myself my ideal price should be around $1 per 10GB and it's only $20 more for a better drive. Then a quick calculation in my head yield that it's paying over 40% more than I should and I pause. Must be patient to see it hit $50 or the 1TB hit $100. The SATA version already has so it is just a matter of time.

They really need to separate MW from that giant piece of garbage Warzone. Love MW, Warzone is trash.

I recently replaced HDD with MX500 SATA SSD on Inspiron 5558 and it was literally a nirvana !

It's fine for a boot drive. Kind of wasted on large games. And you can always set it up as a cache drive with Intel Storage technology and pair it with a SATA drive.

Well call me a liar. After my post about waiting I clicked on the Discover link, it worked! These never work for me. With $14 off, it's only $5 higher, and since I have some GC credit, the total came under $50 so I pulled the trigger. TYOP! Sometimes I amaze even myself. laugh out loud

If it's your only drive it'll be fast. If your thinking about upgrading from an SSD you already have, you won't really notice that much of a difference.

Yes, it's officially marketed as a gaming drive!
