Not sure if this is a regular price or anything but I was shopping for a Roku device and found that the Roku Premier is $29.99 at multiple places. Comes with a free HDMI cable in the box as well. Might be an older model but it does 4K and HDR so I think it's a fine deal. Kohls will get you $5 Kohl's cash for being over $25

Don't think so. Looks like it says Simple Remote on the Roku website.

What's the difference from the $70 roku ultra? Just bought a x900f. Is there a major difference between the two?

FYI each store has their own shortcut buttons that cannot be reprogrammed. All have Netflix. Walmart will also have VUDU. Best but might have Sling or Espn or Now and some newer ones are getting Disney. *None have a Prime. I read somewhere on a post they they pay $1 to Roku to get "their" button that's why it cannot be reprogrammed

Oddly enough, all 3 of my various Rokus have an Amazon command that shows up on the Logitech remotes, just no physical buttons.

Just asking, as I have two 2016 Sony TV's, what do you need that the TV's android can't do? Netflix, Prime, Youtube, Hulu, Fandango, Vudu, Kodi with addons, other sideloaded apks all work great on mine.

Generally speaking, devices like these will continue to get updates longer than smart TVs. Also they tend to be faster (faster hardware).

Note that wireless AC, 802.11ac, is not supported. It is important to me, had experienced buffering issues in the past...
