Kelty has a great sale on some very solid travel/EDC backpacks. IMO, the MAP 3500 is the star of the sale, it is a beast of a pack for $53.40. I personally bought 2 MAP 3500 in both colors and a Nomad, too good to pass up.

Nomad available in black - $65.40

MAP 3500 available in black or coyote brown - $53.40 OOS

Looks like a good deal and I like that they have mesh bottle holders on both sides but I feel that Osprey is worth the extra cost for the quality and value you get. I like to have pockets in the hip belt, surprised the 3500 MAP doesn't have any zipper pockets even though the hip belt attachment is pretty substantial

I'm a big believer in Kelty products seeing that I have beat the heck out of my Coyote for over 20 years without a single issue. These tactical bags may not be a good comparison to an Osprey but I can attest to Kelty's quality being top tier. Not to mention the MAP 3500 is a preferred SEAL bag as well.

Thought the SEAL teams used Mystery Ranch , 5.11 or Condor backpacks?

The MAP 3500 was popular back around 2010. I believe it was discontinued at one point and then brought back but it looks like they might be phasing them out again.

I gotta admit, I was in the same boat as you. How do you have this many compartments and not have a picture of them, but a quick google search led me to some youtube reviews of the MAP 3500 and I was sold.

The tent section of their website may better suit your needs.

Good point, but this might work as a chest of drawers, so this is the "furniture" section.

I bought the Peregrine 1800 in black and it is a nice bag. Very well constructed and padded.

I'm surprised this deal didn't get as much love as the redwing 44 one got. I grabbed a MAP when it was available and seems like it going to be a good pack. The peregrine looks like a good all purpose pack as well.
