Does anyone know how much the two M12 batteries (1.5Ah and 2.0Ah) and M12 charger would go for on eBay? M12 prices seem pretty low so I wonder if it'd even be worth it.

If I could get rid of them for at least $35 it might be worth it to get just the tool and case for <$100.

Trying to understand what this thing is, it doesn't record and you're expected to see whatever you want to see on that tiny screen?

$50-60 range, so yeah you can get $35 for them after all the fees. I hate shipping batteries though, you got to go through that whole haz-mat label thing.

Great for in the wall work or mechanics... Or just great to add to the Milwaukee collection.

In my experience, the camera on these things is way to zoomed to help as much as I expected.

I own this and use it to work on various Mercedes Benzes and BMWs that are always in the garage. Yes, you can buy a camera with a USB cable for $10 that is effectively the same, but it saves so much time to just grab this and get a quick look. I never have to worry about dropping a laptop, damaging the camera, or chasing down proprietary batteries. The one downside is that you can't take pictures. A smartphone picture of the display is usually fine for my uses.

The lens is wide enough to see an m156 piston at bdc if you rotate the camera around. I paid $150 for the kit. Well worth it for the times it saved me.

Trying to figure out why this item is expensive. How big is the screen and how long does the battery last?

This is a very useful tool but there are better and cheaper options now. Just do a search for an endoscope on Amazon or other sites. A good one can be found for about $70 and up. Built in rechargeable battery, much bigger screen, snap photos, longer camera scope if needed.
