I really thought they were going to go somewhere after 3. That movie established alot of the lore and backstory. And then 4 and 5 just took a dump on all of that.

I got this via VUDU a ways back (I only use VUDU for MA to iTunes). FYI:1) VUDU shows all 5 films, MA shows all 5 films, iTunes doesn't show the original, presumably because it's Unrated on iTunes.
2) MA lists all films as HD, not UHD


If you plan to cross platforms via MA, I guess YMMV

NOPE. The problem is with VUDU, it has both versions now, the bundle only contains original version, which isn't on iTunes.

My understanding is that .99 iTunes bundles don't port to UHD anyway.

I thought of getting that on Vudu, but I have seen them enough already and only first 2 and barely 3rd is worth watching, I mean seriously they literally drag it till 5th, it's like cliche and unnecessary drag, no story, no plot and Kate stop giving 100% after 2nd installment.

not sure if i remember it correctly, story wise, isn't that Rise of the Lycans should go before Evolution to feel more coherent?

Release order to do first-watch (spoilers etc.) Lycans is chronologically first.

I had no idea there were 5 of these. I saw the first one and all I can remember is I definitely didn't need to see it again, let alone 4 more

I see FandangoNow [fandangonow.com]also has this on sale but for 21.99 but 3 of the five are UHD.

I am not sure though if the first film will port to iTunes though because that version of the film in iTunes is different.
dstppy comment makes me wonder because it would suck to be missing the best film in the collection on iTunes.

Edit---
Fandango has 3 available as UHD but the bundle is for the HD versions only.
