husky 46 inch adjustable work bench/table/desk $179 (YMMV)

Found this highly rated (>1.6k 5 star) Husky one at a local store (Chaska, MN) for $179. 300 lbs capacity. 26 to 42 inch range. 1.2 inch solid wood work surface.

Regular price $209 which is still much better than what you'll pay for other "top rated" adjustable height desks...heck even the frames alone for most others (uplift, Jarvis, etc.) are minimum 300, don't include a top to the desk, and can't lift the 300 lbs the Husky one can.

UPDATE: Picked it up from HD. It's a big box and weighs ~100lbs, so plan accordingly with your vehicle and help (if needed). Assembly was very straightforward (6 steps of positioning parts and screwing things in). I did this solo, but could see how you might want a hand screwing in the cross support. The components (nuts/bolts, screw holes on desk top, legs) all seemed good quality, miles better than my Ikea desk components.

Probably a decent deal for what it is, but that adjustment range is nothing like a purpose-made standing desk.

42 inches is the max height if using the included castors.

Edit to add: the frames you are comparing to (fully, etc) are electric, not a hand crank.

I have the 52" version of this with the two tool drawers and the max height is not where a taller person would want it as a standing desk. As a work table, it's fine. With a monitor on an arm/stand I think it would be ok for most as well, but you'd definitely want the monitor above the max height the surface can reach. But it's too short for using something like a laptop just sitting on it.

Far as the table itself I have no issue with it and assume this 46 is basically the same as the 52 I have. The crank attaches to a hex on the table, so you can use an electric ratchet to drive it if you want. Just need to be careful if you do that not to torque on it at the end of travel.

The one I bought was on sale at $230 and at the time that was a very good price for anything I could find that was comparable. The drawers are completely optional to install them or not, by the way. Not part of the main structure. Even if you don't want them now but think you might later, I'd buy 'em. Heavy duty add on under-table drawer kits cost a fortune.

My wife would probably approve of me buying this. It would eliminate me from bringing things in from the garage to the kitchen table to work on. Hmm, 62" is only $229.

Actually most do have hand crank for the quoted price. Electric are even more expensive

Looks like you can still order online (use zip 55318, Chaska store), but shipping ($55) might kill it for you. Still at $234 (plus tax) for a completed desk.
