Can't speak to this particular style, but I've had DM in the past. First pair was probably 2000 or so, couldn't wear them out, loved them. Probably had 5 years. Made in England.

Most recent pair I bought 2018, only lasted a year at best. They were the steel toe/industrial ones I wear for work and hate buying new boots. Figured they'd last like the previous pairs. Nope. Made in China. So there's that. Still do love me a pair of DM just haven't had much luck with them in the past few years.
Chinese Doc's. Bummer.

I can't speak for this particular style but I've bought docs in the past and they suggested I size down. The leather seems to expand once you break them in. I normally wear 11-11.5 and the last pair I bought were size 10. After they broke in the fit perfectly. I'm hoping these are the same case. Also, they offer a student discount (10 off any order that $75+). So I ended up buying the black and brown ones for 129 including tax

I agree with this sentiment. I still wear my Doc Martens boots that I bought in 2000 a few times a week. Bought a pair three years ago and they are clearly not as well made. I think I donated them a few months back. (For what it's worth, the company states that since their 2004 manufacturing move, 99% of their shoes are now manufactured in Asia instead of the UK, but they are still made with the same materials and quality).

So i have to join some text thing to get $5 off? That's not enough to join a text message bullshit. That should be a 20% off coupon code minimum. I refuse to join text thing for a measly $5 coupon code. I suggest you all follow suit and not bite on this. Stand strong with me and we will prevail. United we stand.

For what it's worth, their boots fit my feet similarly to a 2e. I usually have to wear 14 wides in most shoes (4e in atheletic) but the canvas docs stretched just enough where I can wear them casually.
