Packout items are like 10% discount from Home Depot prices. Not much of a savings

I have this driver, works great. That being said, I believe I paid ~$80 a couple of years ago, so the deal is not super slick. If you are invested in M18 and don't want to wait on fuel, I'd say bite- it's plenty functional for most home use.

Non-fuel. I'm not sure why anyone would buy this? The M12 Fuel driver is way smaller, has more power, and costs about the same.
Because most consumer/homeowner would not he able to use all the power of FUEL line. M12 FUEL has its own purpose you're comparing apple to orange. I gave this one to apprentices so they don't mess up my FUEL, money wise, this beats everything in the same price category $69.

My point is you can get the M12 fuel for around the same price. So unless you only have M18 it makes sense to get the M12 fuel vs this.

Yes torque is decent, and IPM is very good at 4,200. That's even more important than torque in my opinion.

For comparison the M18 Fuel Gen 3 is 4,300 IPM, the M12 Fuel is 4,000 IPM (plus lower torque than this) and the Dewalt 20v XR is only 3,800 IPM.

This isn't Fuel, but it's still very, very good.

That said, the kit with a battery and charger was $89 over the holidays and will probably be back there in a few months if you can wait.

I love the M12 Fuel but this has significantly more power if that's what you need.

'Significantly" might be a stretch.

It's not. I have this, Gen 2 12v fuel, and 18v fuel surge.

This definitely feels more robust when driving lag screws, but the 12v is much more compact.
