Thanks OP. I checked last night and Staples said unavailable to ship/pickup and thought I missed out. I used a $20 off of $60 coupon I got in the mail and had $20 in rewards so with my filler ended up paying $22.56 total.

I had a laptop 1TB hybrid drive recently (16GB sata) have sata connections and then a 4 pin connection that was not used. Was labeled IDE, what exactly is it?

Those usually have to do with hard drive settings/configurations. Sometimes used for diagnostics or power settings/modes. 99% of people out there don't use them. Not sure why it would be labeled "IDE".

bios caught it as such as well. Also, the last 2TB drive I got from segate was not sata, looked like an ide type config soldered onto board, and board had usb 3.0 soldered.
