Curious if anyone has bought appliances from IKEA? I didn't even know that they sold them!

Yes, IKEA sells appliances. I own a mini fridge from IKEA and it's working fine. I haven't bought any large appliances at IKEA, but I definitely would at these prices if I was in need.

The majority of IKEA appliances are made by the Whirlpool Corporation. For the most part, IKEA's appliance models are low-end Whirlpool, Amana, and Maytag appliances with the logos and insignias removed

their appliances are made by whirlpool as far as i know.
consumer reports published an article about them last year (if you have a subscription you can read the whole thing) that says some are good and other not so good... which probably explains their mixed reputation.

I have a OTR microwave from them. Looks great works fine. Bulb burns out often.

I'm having difficulty ordering an appliance from there now. Says there is stock in the store but wants to charge me for delivery 😤 Any advice from anyone that has successfully placed a click and collect order?

Not all stores open click and collect right now. Ikea is rolling out new options in stages as they move away from relying entirely on distribution center shipping to utilizing local stores. If your store is already at capacity for the day, they may not even offer you the option.

Both "click to collect" and "expedited delivery" (which is delivery from the local store) are new, and not available in all markets. When they make additions, they typically add new stores on Sundays.
