Noob question - Can anyone suggest me what's a good service if I want to get interests on long term deposits?
The best bang for your buck - long-term - is to open a ROTH IRA account and invest in the market.

That all true, assuming one is in the 24% bracket - but, the fact remains that a few hundred dollars is being made so if one has short term funds - this is a real deal, especially since no direct-deposit requirement is included.

Citi Accelerate Savings is available in select markets. Applicant(s) with a residential/home (not mailing) address in one of the following locations are eligible to apply for Citi Accelerate Savings accounts: AA, AE, AK, AL, AP, AR, AS, AZ, CO, DE, GA, GU, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, ME, MI, MN, MO, MP, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, OH, OK, OR, PA, PR, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VI, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY and select markets in Florida.
Does the accelerate account work with this bonus? I don't see it explicitly listed as an eligible savings account

No thanks. "They are not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, they are not guaranteed by Ford Motor Company, and they do not constitute a bank account."

Your money could disappear. I'll take 1.45% with First Foundation which is almost industry-leading (top Savings rate is currently 1.5%) in an FDIC insured account up to $250k.

Relax. I don't do internet arguments. It's a massive detraction for most who are not going to risk savings in a non-FDIC-insured account. It is not just about the rate which is only 0.10% better than the current best FDIC-insured savings rate.

True, the 'risk' is higher when no FDIC insurance is included but without risk, there would be no millionaires and for sure no billionaires. It's all about diversifying your available funds - short and long-term. I'm thinking that you are one of those people who will end up living off of Social Security only.

FYI They send you a 1099!
Don't they all do that? It's an income that you need to report.

I'd be pissed if I don't get the bonus and need to call them for an investigation. Just added a reminder in my calendar on October 31st 2020.

Maybe they do now. I don't do many of these. I got the bonus without hiccup (last year, it was for $600 i think). My biggest issue with them was that to fund the account I gave them my account and routing info during the account opening process but they did not take the money. Had to fund after account opening.

I did open a Citigold account on 4/13/2020 as I was refinancing with them.
Will they be able to apply any of these offers on my account?

I was just curious. Off topic but I w as looking at first foundation. Do you like them? Used them? They have a pretty good rate.

I did notice quite some bad reviews they have but... I also noticed they have a 10K transfer limit per day and I guess 20k it says after you verify an external account which takes 30 days or something?.. So if you had significant money on the account, it would literally take weeks to transfer funds out lol. That is kind of absurd....

I have had discover, marcus, citibank, capital one savings accounts and never had any of them give me a transfer limit below at least $100k.
