We're you born yesterday? This is not out of line with other gift card deals.

For $40, they sell you rights to $10 of food that has been marked up to $50 for ambiance, brand name, yada, yada... The restaurant still makes money - just not as much and they get the free use of your cash. They also hope that you lose the gift card before you use it.

Try converting that $50 card to $50 cash - then you will found out the truth.
But they buy fresh beef and raw chicken ? What are you ordering that you claim is microwaved? They are not Applebee's in case you are confused.

Scam. Obviously nobody gives you $50 for $40.

I have to say I use to like red robin, but as if the last few years (maybe longer) it's just blah. They use microwaves for almost everything. Bummer, pass.

Still thumbs up for decent deal!

Won't ever eat at this place. Local manager won't honor their online price for that location. District manager admitted that local manager was wrong and said that he would send gift card as a courtesy. Two years later gift card has yet to arrive! Horrible experience with this company.

It's actually not that much of a joke. Red Robin only has 92 million cash on hand as of late March. It's had to draw all its credit lines and what puts it in a really hard position is that it has a massive amount of long term debt making interest payments harder to pay as this things lingers. It's already starting to close restaurants since April. There's a real possibility it could go under.

That being said, if you like eating here, take the deal only if you plan to spend it quickly.

I'd be wary of getting GC at this time. I don't have the inside scoop on Red Robins but some places I have GC to arent honoring them until they can open up completely. It makes sense they sell GC's to make money and stay a float but it would suck to buy it and not be able to use it until months later.

Had problems using this last time. They had issues with their register, might not have been the gift card. Took nearly an hour sitting in the car in front of the restaurant (after purchase). Food was blah and overpriced. Kids liked it though.

Bought this deal last time and the website and local restaurant would not honor this for online/delivery orders. You have to use the GC for dine-in only and would have to wait until they open to use.
