The two large capacity batteries and rapid charger make this slick.

Anybody have experience with this saw? Looking to make the jump to a cordless vs my cheap corded one.

Great deal, OP.

Just for clarification: this saw is not the Fuel version, but rather the Brushless version. This is preferred over the Brushed version, but not as powerful as the Fuel equivalent.

This saw would be capable of ~90% of anyone's ask of it, so do not let that deter you.

I just got the rear handle work style one which is absolutely phenomenal. I believe that rear handle and this saw is comparable in power, this being a bit lighter and compact. I'm right hand dominant so I prefer to see the blade on the left.

Just noticed this is non-fuel. not sure if the rear handle fuel and this is comparable but the batteries definitely make it slick if you don't need the fuel power.

There are a few other options for the free tool to go with battery kit.

Can I return the saw and keep the batteries and charger or is this an all inclusive kit?

Others have commented on doing this in the past but you will only receive store credit which cannot be used online.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm holding out for the fuel saw.

This saw is a beast. Don't need a corded saw once you own this one. Used this occasionally with old 4.0 battery and was impressed (cutting OSB boards 3-4 stacked)

Sorry, used a fuel version, not this model. Might better wait for a fuel deal

How will this be compared to the Dewalt XR 20v 7 1/4" Circular saw?

Good saw for homeowner or occasional use but not the pro grade fuel version is a deal breaker for me. IMO the fuel sawzall is a much better deal for the same price. I own this fuel sawzall and it's easily as good as any corded version I've ever used.

I would even consider the fuel jigsaw a great deal at this price

If I was after the fuel sawzall, I'd buy the 12Ah kit from Acme for $250 and get it free with that. I get that a 8Ah and a 6Ah are probably more useful than a 12Ah, but it's $50 less ...
