You must be joking. Even if this is real, the employees obviously have this app and will be taking all of these home to sell on ebay.

I think these are the same that were on clearance for $45 last week and now the price has dropped even further.

Don't waste your time or money looking for these, people have already emptied the shelves.
I dont think so. These are a different model #. Was bummed because I wanted to get my 2 lowered another $25 lol

[Mobile app quoted the wrong person. Original person asked if BrickSeek Premium would help.]

In my experience, no. Even with premium, employees know about these drops before you do. I only had one successful score and it was because it got left on the wrong shelf by a customer.

Will this worth 30min drive?
No. It's worth it if you already had a reason to go there, but for something else. Even though folks are getting marked as unhelpful, the folks who score deals like these are more like lottery winners than your average Joe.

Once Slickdeals became more popular and employees of places got hip to the site it's very hard to find these deals now. I'm positive they scoop up most of the good deals now these days long before most of us can get them. I get luck once in awhile because the item might be put on the very top shelf and another employee might just find it and go get it but usually they are just not there.

If I was still in college I would have already flown out the door. But not worth my time and I don't like shopping at Walmart.....

Same but at the time it was the Staples YMMV that were posted daily here and at FW.

9/10 times even if brickeek shows there is stock, you will not find it at the store. I have done this too many times to even bother try. Most of the time, employees just hide it from you.

$19 in most of the stores but YMMV.
Any Walmart or target brickseek deal is YMMV and likely a waste of time. Brickseek used to be very very accurate and at worst case off by 1 on inventory, nowadays it's common for brickseek to say there's 3 of a item and there's none at the store. For these type of deals if the count is less than 5 it's best not to waste your time and even if the count is 5 or higher you likely would only find a couple at best. Then there's also the issue of the employees who hide and/or steal things which makes the inventory problems worse but that's a whole different issue altogether. Focusing on the deal though if you can find one at this price that's a good deal but most people won't be able to.

Saw an employee gathering a few of them up earlier today actually and taking them to the back to dissapearville. Yes they are not so inclined to help hunt something for you when they or others may have laid claim. Around here its usually disappeared immediately. Oh well.
I'd have walked right to the front customer service desk and tattled and bought a few to piss off the guy hiding them.

Exact situation happened to me today on the Google Lenovo deal. BS said 5-6 available and I watched the Walmart rep enter the correct UPC and it said 0 available. BS is basically useless.

Only one store near me has them, at a price of $45 dollars- all other stores are sold out at $19 I call 3 stores gone. Great deal. If you are able to grab at $19.

I wonder if we, slickdealing humans, should consider putting a pause on posting YMMV brickseek deals during a pandemic? Or maybe a disclaimer that you're more likely to return with Covid than the actual item you're looking for...
