FYI: prohibited in checked luggage and requires special permission from airlines to bring as carry on.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this "travel charger" is actually beyond TSA allowance for size without special permission right?

This company seems to promote their stuff via Amazon more often.
Seems they are trying NewEgg deals now.

I haven't bit on anything if their yet so not sure re quality. Seems like a bit of a gamble, but theoretically decent price:features

$109 retail
18mo warranty per manufacturer website
90w output on AC outlet
anyone figure out what the USB outputs are?

I purchased this back on April 29th through an Amazon promotion. I received the pack and charged it to 100%. Tested it out the following day, trying to run a Ubiquiti Access Point's POE Injector. It kept turning off on me. I don't think I put enough load on it, but I haven't had a chance to re-test with anything else.

As a side note: I ran the same POE Injectoron my AP with the OmniCharge without any issues.

You're right, it is over the TSA limit, but there are more (and better) ways to travel than commercial flights. Good job pointing this out, though, since someone could have a bad day at the airport if they didn't know that this exceeds the limit!

From amazon description:
https://www.amazon.com/Omars-4020...B07D9KZ4W3

The usb outputs are only 2.1A each
USB-A Output *2: 5V/2.1A

Also the input is only 2A
DC 16.8V/2A

The lack of qc/pd/usb-c input and/or output and only 2.1A output kills the deal for me. It would take quite a while to charge this at only 2A input

Amazon sells the same powerpack for $67.59 after coupon code IB2RSVQV, so only $12.60 in savings with newegg deal, do not believe the inflated over $100 price

Yeah theyde confiscate it, and give it to their kids. I have gone through with 30000 mah batteries, but not worth are risk for $55 plus tax.
The good news is, today's new airplanes have lithium batteries in them , to reduce fuel consumption.
Hopefully that won't be the next new wave of plane crashes.
Btw: what happens to all the weed that gets confiscated at airports? It's not like they use it for prosecution or anything. Does it just get tossed out? I wonder how many employees have gotten fired from pocketing it?

This must have been made pre-usb C, proprietary charging input source and not the typical 12v or 5v.

It's way beyond the limit at a stated 146 watt hours. I've never heard of this brand before so unsure of quality.

There are a couple of reviews on Amazon. From reading a few of the reviews, it either seems like it's a good battery or it has problems in 3 months or less.

You can carry one 300Wh battery or two batteries at 160Wh each.
This is 146Wh. Not only is this allowed, you can even carry two on board.
