I got one of these (9900K which runs hot) and it is blazing fast; cooling is just fine, cannot hear it during normal operation and the fan noise increases while gaming (in 4K) but is not that loud. There is an exhaust fan on top as well and room for water cooling if you want upgrade in the future.
Is not a "hardcore gaming" PC but it does the job just fine, great deal.
I posted this deal after spending much of the weekend researching and pricing out systems. I have used slickdeals too save quite a bit money over the years and wanted to give back to my fellow slickdeals users. If you think there is a better deal please post it.
Soo nooo.

Gpu would probably be closer to 800 than 700. Lets go 750

The cpu lets go cheaper than whats listed on amazon 375, and do 350

Now lets just do any old motherbord in stock, $100

Ram, lets be conservative amd. go $90

2Ttb ssd, $200 (again conservative)

Random case, $50

Sooo yea comes out to just about the same, except you need to wait 2 months for all the parts to be in stock

Edit: I forgot to include the cost of windows and power supply. So add another 100 to that if you know where to get cheap windows codes.

Are the Alienware cases and/or deals really any better or worth paying more than the XPS ?

Would it be worth buying to part out for the mother board and gpu? On an i5-6600k and 980ti
i dont see the point you can buy a 2080super for 700$ and get a better cpu and mobo combo for less then what this is asking for.

Does this type of graphics card improve the performance of programs like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator?

The R8 will come close in config, but with the same cpu, memory, 2080 super, 850w psu, and 512GB boot/1TB 7200 (vs 2TB SSD) comes out to $1455+tax w/ coupon and the same 6% cb.

What type of power supply is in here? Is it a dell proprietary or replaceable?
