75" and 86" are IPS panels, 82" is VA.

No local dimming, no wide color gamut, and very poor HDR brightness. Does have a 120 Hz panel, though.

BOught this 2 wqeeks ago. No complains so far. Fun to watch and learn how smart this tv is. Only worry is the wifi, it cuts out. I need to reset my router and see if it helps. If not, I will be calling the LG for assistance.

hey there!
Very curious about this TV. We've got a 55" Vizio from 6 years ago and looking to upgrade.

Questions:
1. Does this TV have the gallery mode/frame mode?
2. Is there a list of HomeKit commands available?

it can run your photo's from a USD like a slide format, if that is what you are asking.

There is a mic button on the remote that you can speak into for google assistance. I tried a few, like, mute tv, turn on caption, ask about the weather, check the temp to my smart thermostat. But you have to use the mic in the remote, you cannot just yell it out like google home

BTW, for that price, get it. It is 1000000000 better then the 55" vizio. LOL. your eyeball will fall out once you get to sit down and enjoy it, after everyone else enjoys it.

Good price for size, but no local dimming is a bummer. prob won't make a dif in a bright room playing tv shows all day

it can do 1440p @ 120hz and has good lag, might be a good big gamer monitor

Has there been a 75' TV with local dimming for under $1000 ever before though?

I think this is a great deal. Fair warning, for anyone who might be moving between places in a year or two, a 75' TV is tough. I have a 65' that somehow survived a move, but literally everytime I picked it up I was positive it was going to break. For me, a 55' TV is perfect size and fills up a living room well. Definitely recommend if you have a big living room in a more permanent spot though.
