"Maximum weight tolerance is 500lbs per single cot and a total 1000lbs in a bunk configuration" -from the assembly manual

These were used on the set of "Edge of Tomorrow" in the barracks. Very cool bunk beds.

Wow, each one is 79"L x 35"W. I pulled the trigger. Anything to get the family to complain less about tent camping. Plus, it gets you off the ground for sleeping.

On the manufacturer's website https://www.discobedshop.com/coll...organizers these are $390 with shipping cost of $65.

Have two sets of these and they are very sturdy and convert to a couch configuration (really) for non-sleeping times. But beware they are HEAVY. Definitely a high quality product.

that's per. we want to know the specs after they are stacked. it's a damn strong frame there if the bottom cot can handle the top one up to 500lbs.

Bunk configuration is stacked, so the manual shows that each will still hold the 500 each even if stacked.

The frame can handle 1000 basically, while the fabric will hold 500

Last year I bought the Teton XXL massive cot for $90. I wish I had bought this set since it is more versatile (turns into a couch!) and robust. This deal seems to come up yearly so once the Teton goes I am all over this.

Before comparing it to other place's prices (e.g. Cabela's) note the included accessories from Costco:

- 7" Leg Extension (increase gap between bunks) ($25)
- Side organizers ($30)
- Footpads ($25)

I feel like everyone planning on using this inside a tent is going to buy the footpads anyway, and the leg extension could be useful for certain situations (e.g. having an adult on the bunks).

TL;DR: This is an even better deal than it immediately appears while shopping around.

If you do a search on SD here, you'll see it was cheaper in July at the end of the season... but YMMV & you have to look yourself and try ringing it up, since the price may not be updated in-store on the signs etc
