Not good for drones if anyone was wondering. For drone or go pro usage I would suggest you stick with a U3, V30 and up card

Actually depends on the Bitrate. These are totally fine for older models like the Mavic Pro or Phantom 4 standard and lower models.

So many fakes. 3rd party seller inventory gets mixed in with the real inventory and amazon doesn't care

Even if you buy from amazon directly. It's all a crapshoot.

Spend a few dollars more and get it from a brick and mortar.

Oh. I didn't know that. Thanks for the heads up. I'll just buy from costco then

Well hell, I have a 256gb card coming for my phone. Recommendations on a tool to test if it's real?

I've purchased about a dozen SD & MicroSD cards from Amazon and never had an issue. I even purchased the open box item when there was the 20% deals and never encounter a fake card yet. With that said I would stay away from 3rd party sellers for this reason and would buy from Amazon directly.

Look up videos for the card that show the physical differences between the real and fake ones, it's usually easy to spot if you know what to look for. Use H2testw to test the card's capacity. Use CrystalDiskMark to test card the speeds and compare it to what they should normally be on a real card, it will give you a good idea

The 2x 128GB SanDisk Extremes at Costco for $40 are a better deal for anything you need faster cards for, although I'd also trust that they're more reliable too. They're 100r/90w.

Not anymore. That sale ended a few days ago so price is back up to $45 which is still a good price.
