Looks like a custom ryobi bundle at Home Depot - Apex NC. There were about 6 more pieces after i picked one. At 75.99 it shows a 50% discount. Looks like store specific and YMMV. Does not seem to be showing online.

They finally went down to $38 at my store, did the price adjustment, it was as easy as apple pie! Thanks to those who posted about the price drop!

Yes! Thanks for posting! I got denied last night for price adjustment, "cant price match clearance item" and just said okay, didnt argue. Tried again this morning with a different associate and no problem. Instant savings!

Every time I've been to either of the Home Depots near me recently the line at the Customer Service/Returns desk is at least 10-12 people deep. I waited once for close to 30 minutes because I had an online order I had to pick up and the curbside pickup thing is a joke because they don't answer the phone. While I'd love to get the price adjustment to $38.xx from the $75.xx I paid for the kit I just don't feel like the $35 I'd get back is worth the hassle. Not to mention I'd be ticked if I waited all that time and got an associate that wouldn't do the return/rebuy for me. One of the Home Depots near me in particular is really difficult with returns sometimes. I've run into problems there in the past returning items on some of the Ryobi deals where they've said I have to return both items. Must be a difficult store manager there or something. Good deal for those that are able to get the even better discounted price though. I was happy getting it at $75 so I think I'll just leave it at that and wait for the next deal.

Can't thank you guys enough for this thread. I am a little late to the party but perhaps good things come to those who wait.

I came across four of these at a local home depot. Took to the self check register expecting to pay $37 like was posted in this thread and was pleasantly surprised that it rang up $0.01!! I went back and bought the other three.

Perhaps HD has removed these from their inventory which created the price discrepancy? I am not sure how ethical it is but seemed like a super slick deal to me. Of course, YMMV. Also, I think I found the BS link:

Good luck if any of you guys can snag one of these!

I still have 3 of these, still sealed, never opened that I paid $37. Was going to give as gifts . Wonder if I can take back and repurchase and get the discount?? That would be over $100

Sounds like you got lucky. According to this HD clearance guide [wallethackers.com], clearance items get marked down to a penny when they are supposed to be pulled from the store.
