I've been looking at desktop deals everyday. It's meh-ok deal zone. I love the other alienware deal better but I hesitate... so I missed it. I hope similar deals come back.

DDR4 3400 should be the minimum speed in a 3700X desktop. B550 is about to come out, and this doesn't even have USB C either.

DDR4 3200 but at Cl 16 pairs really well with a 3700X, and performs as well as DDR4 3600 at Cl 18.

My message was too short and wouldn't go through. EBay.

I mean it is a gold certified power supply, 100 dollar case, and comes with some nice fans. This is a good deal for a prebuilt from what I have seen

Ebay, all day, any day. Usually they are OEM keys and can only be used on a fresh motherboard that hasnt had windows activated on it yet and can't be used to upgrade a current version of windows - perfect for a self built, fresh mobo.

So I put together this PC the best I could with the spec I see available with parts I would feel comfortable buying (meaning I didn't pick the cheapest items). Without know the specific brand of each component, it is hard to do a 100% price match. But I can say that most "pre-built" systems use the cheapest available parts that still meet specs to increase their profit margin. So please keep that in mind.

PCPartPicker Part List [pcpartpicker.com]

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor [pcpartpicker.com] ($274.49 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard [pcpartpicker.com] ($114.99 @ Best Buy)
Memory: GeIL EVO SPEAR 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 CL16 Memory [pcpartpicker.com] ($57.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Silicon Power A55 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive [pcpartpicker.com] ($92.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB WINDFORCE OC 3X Video Card [pcpartpicker.com] ($499.99 @ Best Buy)
Case: In Win 101C ATX Mid Tower Case [pcpartpicker.com] ($86.79 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: Cooler Master MWE Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply [pcpartpicker.com] ($99.99 @ Best Buy)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit [pcpartpicker.com] ($109.99 @ B&H)
Wireless Network Adapter: Syba SY-PEX23059 PCIe x1 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi Adapter [pcpartpicker.com] ($18.11 @ Amazon)
Case Fan: In Win Sirius Loop ASL120 (3-Pack) 50 CFM 120 mm Fans [pcpartpicker.com] ($40.00)
Total: $1395.33
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

I would say this is an OK deal for someone that wants a PC out of the box and don't want to put one together.

EDIT: Please note that the price of $1395.33 is the total out the door price (including tax/shipping). The total price for this SkyTech pre-build after tax (for me) is $1511.99. So I would save $117 by buying the parts and building it myself. I would probably save even more because I would never pay $110 for Windows 10
