I know that a lot of people are on a strict budget, but the 55H8F at Costco for $370 is WELL worth the price increase if you have a membership. Vastly better across the board plus a better warranty which is a big deal for a cheap TV.
I have a ton of gift cards in my account where I'd be able to get this for free. Can anyone who got the last deal tell me if this thing is any good? I don't really watch TV maybe twice a month, so I'm expecting it to last at least 6yrs.

The quality is amazing for the price. I just got 2. For my bedroom and living room. Loving it so far

I didn't know about that deal or if it's even in stock, not a member so I went with walmart R6. The H8G (corrected) is better known and getting good reviews but this 58R6 isn't bad so far, it needs calibration still. It's next to my TCL 6 so seems on pale or washed out. I liked my TCL 4 series better after calibration, had deep contrast and rich color but I'm not some kind of TV snob by any stretch.
I think I have 90 day return window, maybe something better will come along. I think some products may be delayed or in short supply from covid.
I picked up the 58r6e3 yesterday, but my 55h6570g will be delivered Wednesday from Costco. Will decide what to keep after i set them up. The 58 just barely fit in my cutout, so it's a pain to pull it out or push it in. Thought about the h8f, but wanted to stick with the cheapest possible

Has an outstanding picture. I'd tweak it more but I can't figure out to enter the calibration menu. Anyone know how?
Back in stock online! Just ordered w/ free delivery. I went to a nearby store earlier today the website said they had 5 in stock- they had none.. At the time there was no option for delivery, in store only.. Get while you can!!
