Welcome to Season 347 of It Really Works vs Snake Oil.
Not only does this work, GM encourages owners to use it. This same formula is used (in a lesser extent) in Chevron gasoline. Gasoline includes low levels of the detergents included here, some more than others (stick to 'top tier' fuel). There is no argument to be made for this being called snake oil.
Not snake oil. Go look at the research and real-world results.

Great site for this stuff is the forums at www.bobistheoilguy.com ...tons of oil/additive/automotive fluids geeks there.

I fall more in the camp that agrees with you, but there are plenty that usually disagree in threads about this as well - especially because as you mentioned most gas now has detergent additives already - even though the concentration of it is obviously much lower.

Last time I bought this product, Amazon didn't charge sales tax and they offered a $2 digital coupon to make it even more slick. I reckon those good ole days might be long gone. Cowboy

+1. Use this on all my vehicles. PEA is one of the few additives with anything behind it. Cleans fuel line as well as injectors and valves (if you have port injection).

I had a BMW where the fuel gauge was goofy and I ran this through it and it fixed it.

If you use top tier gas, doesn't do much. I still throw one bottle before every other oil change

Haha, this will always be a hot topic and discussions all over again. If it gives the people a good feeling, why not. It's the deal you make I guess what matters on SD.

But I get the point, it will always be the same. "Do you need to change your brake fluid every year? No, but it gives the people a better feeling, same with 3k miles oil changes etc... the car Industrie like to play it's tricks.

... well I'm ready for the comments now xD
