I used the similar one a few weeks ago and got a "not eligible" here--is this just the same promo? Not sure that one had expired yet.

This is the message I get. American Express® reports that you do not have a Membership Rewards® account. Amex can't seem to tell me what a membership rewards card is.

These offers popping up all the time make me want to upgrade my everyday card to one that uses points.

I'm guessing you have an everyday blue card like I do. Our rewards work in dollars, not points. So it's not eligible for offers that function on points where you can spend them directly with a retailer.
Source: Tried this last year and got a similar message.

For any hopefuls like me, it does not work with Blue Cash cards, which is dumb.

Got a weird response on the page: Unfortunately, you are not eligible for this invitation-only offer. Our system has determined that you are a deal-hunting a-hole that tries to hit these promotions too frequently. The organization has taken note and has docked your eligibility for future promotions accordingly.

Be careful everyone
Amazon/Amex used the word "a-hole"?

Been made to sit out on these for last few times. Not sure why. Keep getting this stupid error:
"Your American Express Membership Rewards Card may not be linked with Shop with Points at Amazon.
Enroll now & you may be eligible for the offer on your next order when you use points at checkout*. "

I have already enrolled the rewards card and if I click on enroll it already shows that card and remaining points that can be used. But keep getting the stupid error. Have already tried deleting and adding the card.

Any suggestions?

Hey everyone - so if I only have the Blue Cash Everyday, does that mean that I'll never be eligible for any of the AMEX amazon deals, since it earns cash back instead of points? Thanks!
