Decent deal because it's shipped, but if your grocery store has bulk spices, red pepper flakes are usually $5/pound give or take.

Worth noting, these degrade quickly. Unless you're making chili oil, you probably won't use even half of this before they go bad. The longer they sit in your pantry, the less spicy and less flavorful they become. They also degrade in color if that matters to you. I usually only buy 2-3oz at a time and buy fresh when that runs out or after 3ish months when they start to smell stale. Fresh red pepper flakes smell fruity and bright. Stale ones smell like cardboard.
35 cent savings. Posted 5 minutes ago and already has Frontpage status, 17 thumbs up and one shitty joke? Someone's trying hard to move some product.
still working my way through 4,352 chili flake packets from all the pizza i ordered in college

Add some vinegar and garlic and you'll have a nice hoagie spread.

Gonna need some details on this one. Approximate ratios and how to prepare the garlic - chopped/minced/crushed?

Per the dromedary, it was recently $10 and just dropped. So the discount is real per "Amazon pricing" at least.

Tony in NY sez - Hot pepper is one of the "Dirty Dozen" veggies that have the most pesticides, so I always buy only organic peppers. This is pretty good. About the same as other organic crushed red pepper.
It's good. But I'll be looking for something less expensive and of the same quality.

This is like a deal on 200 rolls of toilet paper. Who needs this many red pepper flakes -- especially since (unlike TP) it's a somewhat perishable product.
