They're 440c iirc. Not great by any means but they're $10 and would be fun projects. Not sure you can expect much better for the price.
No mention of blade steel other than "stainless steel." I'd pass.

Making the actual blade is the most satisfying part about knife-making. Not sure why they would want to remove that part of the experience. If anything, making the scales is annoying asf.

Agreed. That's the whole point of buying an incomplete knife. For the process/experience of crafting. A mora is just a cheap, but complete knife. I have a few, so I'm not knocking them. Just pointing out that you buy them for different reasons.

Well, then wouldn't you feel compelled to buy at least 8 of those for the full on 'Wolverine' effect? I would. Also, 499 sold - God help us all.
