This may be the only game that made the jump from PC to mobile that doesn't feel like a downgrade. It wasn't designed with touch screens in mind but they've absolutely made it work and feel natural. Probably the best thing they did was cut down on the hassle of manually changing your tools. If you tap a tree, you use the axe, tap a stone you use the pickaxe. You can still manually select tools but I really appreciate the quality of life improvements that ease the transition.
If you have a Chromebook, you may be eligible to get this game for free, along w/ the classic DOOM and DOOM II: https://www.engadget.com/doom-doo...23417.html
Watch a lets play. It's a well done fleshing out of Harvest Moon style gameplay like we used to see on the SNES. It's really well done. Made by 1 guy who took several years building and rebuilding to get it right. Worth $5 for anyone who thinks it looks even slightly interesting.

Figured my girlfriend would enjoy this so I bought it last time it was on sale for this price. She reluctantly tried it, and wasn't sure what to think of the first couple times she played. Well fast forward a few months and she's still playing almost every evening.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is so great about this game? I've seen it couple of times on the top 10 or top 5 and I don't understand the hype. Is it like Farmville from Facebook? Thanks

Closer to something like Animal Crossing, but still a bit different. You have a farm you can manage and expand, there's also caves to explore with monsters to fight, and villagers to interact with and get to know. There's always something you can be doing.

You rock! Have a loaner Chromebook and was able to claim both Stardew Valley and Duet Display. Couldn't get the others though for some reason...
