Ty, I've been eyeballing the EX2780Q but I thought no way could I ever justify spending $550 on a monitor. For $300 refurbed by BenQ, I'm willing to give 2x a try.

I didn't get free shipping / handling though - it was $55 so my total was $665.12 for two.

The wife would kill me, but she's getting my 2xPX275h which will be a nice upgrade for her I think.

Just spent $550 on a TV, otherwise I'd be getting two more EX3203R. I payed a good bit less($260 iirc) but it's been amazing. First one had issues but they replaced it no questions asked and super quick.

What's with the no free ship? Like a previous poster said, $55 ship charge for my one monitor with Fedex

Edit: a little misleading by the site, or maybe I started drinking bourbon too early this Friday.

Add to cart and go to cart. Expand the shipping drop down menu and select free ground. Click next. This next screen is where it's confusing since it only appears to allow a shipping option of $55. So fill out all other required info but ignore this shipping section, don't select it. Go to the next screen, there's no error, and proceed as normal.

Wait..isn't this crazy good deal even if it's refurbished? Benq refurb monitors come with 1 year warranty..this is comparable to LG 27GL83A, I thought.

Looks like pretty good prices for these monitors. I just went down a 20-minute rabbit hole researching to see if I should pick one or more of these up. The USB-C and high refresh rates popped off the screen so I had to do some homework.

However, from my limited reading, the specs that are probably going to concern most people are:

- no built in speakers
- VA panels
- no G-sync compatibility
- awkward port placement
- build quality (not sturdy)

I think I'll keep holding out for now, but this is still a solid deal on these monitors.

No speakers = good. Always awful
VA = good, colors are much better
G sync = highly likely that they're compatible.

Other stuff subjective.

i don't do any gaming mostly documents and maybe watch some news or shows on the screen. would this be too extreme of an upgrade. also is there any monitor that can mirror a laptop without any cables.

I'm feeling like a lucky guy! I just picked up all my parts yesterday for my new machine and was going to wait for a monitor deal to hit slickdeals. In for a EX3203R!
