Is it the size or the brushed part that makes it a deal breaker for you? I'm just curious!

I have the 6-1/2and it's great. Its light, easy to use, the electric brake is great, and it just feels right for all day free cuts.

It uses batteries much slower than the multiple 7-1/4's everyone has in their possession.

I also use it on a portable, old school track miter saw called a TrimTramp (I rebuilt it a bit with modern materials) and that makes getting this kit great, for I can devote 1 saw to the table and not have to recalibrate aspects every time.

Sure, it's not a 7-1/4 ... but that's usually the first power tool you buy for cutting.

TL;DR: I'm 6'7" 330lbs, and this saw is both cute, and matches a lot of my summer floral pattern dresses.... No one has ever made fun of my saw. And f you just read this by skipping ahead, then yes., this is exactly what I said in my comment. Smilie

for those that got it, does it include any blades in the kit? for the reciprocating saw or for the circular saw?
