I love Wyze cams, but the quality of the face masks they sourced are crap. Their shipping times are crap, their customer service is selective on what they reply to. And I totally regret ordering KN95 from them, which after 3 weeks of being "shipped," there isn't even a pickup notice...all they've done so far is assign a tracking number to claim it's been shipped - same experience other people have had.

Ordering actual Wyze stuff has been fine...their shipping method still sucks, but I get things in 1-2 weeks.

I agree with phoobie, of the wyze batch I got half of the ear loops pop off the mask when I try to put them on because they are not attached well. Don't waste money on these.

I had recommended Wyze to people looking for masks based on their reputation of their existing products, but it comes across as a money grab by Wyze disguised in them saying they wanted to "help out" during this tough time.

As someone who's tried masks from dpmotorsport [ebay.com] AND Wyze, I can say that the Wyze ones are significantly better. So sure the eBay ones got like 1000+ upvotes because they only sold for $10, but from a quality perspective, the first 10 I used had 3 failed masks. 2 had broken earloops, and 1 had earloops entirely missing. As an engineer myself, I can see how this can be a quality issue as this is a welding process used to attach the earloops and if you have crap manufacturing processes or poor validation or quality control strategies, then yes, you can end up with a bunch of masks with failed welds.

The Wyze ones are significantly thicker and higher quality in feeling. The earloops are thicker and so far for my first I have not seen any weld failures yet. I'll definitely give these a go and report back. I have 1 box in each car so I every time my family goes out we can try more masks on.

If your goal is to get the dirt cheapest masks out there, go buy your $10 masks from eBay, but these are a reliable source for $20 with reasonable quality that easily competes with what I'm used to wearing in manufacturing environments (non-N95 use cases).
