I have the 1000XM3s and SP800Ns. As you can tell from the pictures, they're both rather large, and with prolonged usage they can get uncomfortable, usually around the 2 hour mark for me. I also have never been able to get the 1000XM3s to have a stable fit for me, so I really only use them when sitting at a desk. They would actually fall out of my ear when walking around, and I don't typically have issues with earbuds fitting. The SP800Ns have a hook to help secure them, and I have no trouble at all with these staying in. I walk my dogs and work out with them and they've never fallen out. This is a great price for so soon after release too. In terms of sound, the 1000XM3 is perhaps slightly cleaner, but the SP800N has more bass (geared for exercising) and still sound fantastic. I'm hard pressed to choose between them based on sound. The 1000XM3 also has a better processor for noise cancellation, but I haven't noticed a difference with either. They both excel in that regard. I'd personally go with the SP800N.

In my opinion, the WF-1000XM3 are the best buds by far.

From my research, Sonys are best in audio quality.
I eventually went w the Buds+ bc of smaller size and better phone call speakers, which was what I needed. Also, they were cheaper (Verizon deal)

I did that a few weeks ago at 103. They were pristine and I'm very happy with the risk/savings trade off.

Originally I didn't get a great fit, but was able to use their trick of pulling your ear back to get them to fit better and make a seal. Very happy with their sound, noise cancelling, and even can qualify (reviews are pretty critical of calls). While not IP rated, I've been happy using them to mow, though I bet they would fall out while exercising. I plan to look into the foam tips soon, but general like the included comfort tips.

They don't love the computer much: they work for music but sometimes I have to fiddle with the sound and reconnect then otherwise it's to quiet. They also don't do MS Teams calls well, and the manual says they are only supported for phone calls.

The WH is noticeably better with noise canceling but that doesn't mean that the WF is bad, it's just a different use case. The WH is a headset so naturally it will have some noise canceling just by the ear cup design. The WH is better sound quality and ANC but it lacks the portability of the WF. Do you want best sound quality/anc or can you sacrifice it for some portability. I own both and mainly use the WH for home office or if I am traveling. I prefer the WF when I am more mobile, walking around, or don't have alot of space.

Nintendo Switch has Bluetooth for the controllers but not got audio headsets. So you won't be able to use Bluetooth audio with your headset unless you get a Bluetooth adapter.
