The BBB one is 400W more powerful for just $2 more, and from the naming scheme seems to be a solid tier higher (Professional vs Professional Plus). I'd go with that one.

If you didn't need the extra 400W, but could hold off buying a blender, just wait until Costco discounts this one. This isn't even a sale; it's just in stock at a warehouse price.

Those without Costco membership can also order this, and get with free shipping, with a 5% surcharge ($3.50).

$20 more, not $2, which is 28% more.

The same product is available on Amazon for $100, so OP's post is a decent deal for someone who needs a blender:

Other than that, I agree with you that the price might come down, since the product is discontinued.

Beware of the blades! I bought this model and they are very hard to clean. Cut myself two times. I had to return the unit and get the Nutribullet which is much better at blending and easy to clean.

At the time the person I quoted asked, there was a 20% off coupon bringing the price to from $89.99 to $71.99, and $71.99 - 69.99 = $2. It was a question on getting a higher tier model on sale vs this model at warehouse no discount price. As far as Costco is concerned, there is no discount on this, which means it'll probably be on sale in a few months.

I think BBB sends them out pretty regularly if you sign up for their promotions. We just used it to get 20% off an Omega juicer.

Get real. Lotta people don't have $300 to shell out for a blender.

Thanks for this, didn't have a Costco membership so this worked out cheaper anyways, plus it seem to be even a little bit nicer.

If you got the Kohl's 40% discount for Father's Day, the 1400 watt blender is even cheaper.
