National Debt Has Increased $5.2 Trillion During Trump’s 3 Years

24,200 1,081 June 8, 2020 at 06:46 PM
T The national debt has increased by $5.2 trillion since President Donald Trump took office.

According to the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, a non-partisan fiscal watchdog, the national debt rose from more than $19.9 trillion on January 20, 2017 to more than $25.2 trillion Wednesday.

The increase follows Trump's comments, highlighted in an interview the then-presidential candidate gave to the Washington Post, that he would eliminate the United States' national debt "over a period of eight years" in part by reducing or eliminating trade deals with various countries, including China.

(I don't need to quote any more of the article than that... the guy obviously lied to the American people in order to get elected and then pretended he created an "economic miracle" which was actually an economic bubble. President Deficit now resides over the greatest period of mass unemployment since the Great Depression, as well as 1/4 of the world's infections and deaths from a pandemic.

Never forget 1/6 - The day the anti-democratic Radical Right leader sent his violent mob to destroy America. Never forget the brave men and women of Law Enforcement that suppressed their insurrection attempt.

Thank goodness Trump gave us the strongest economy and lowest unemployment rate in 50 years going into this. It's why the stock market is only 2000 points below it's all time high again Applause

But tell us more about how you blame Trump for the Chinese virus Dontknow

What if Trump were President when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor?

"It was a Japanese Attack"
"It was Hoover's fault"
"How could we have expected that?"

We'd be speaking Japanese, that's what!

It doesn't matter where the stupid virus came from and it doesn't matter who's fault it is. Trump wanted to be President, he is President, so he needs get off his ass and lead the country.

Instead, it's blame blame blame. We don't know from one day to the next whether we're safe or not.
Trump has instant testing for everybody around him, but nobody else in America does. So he has one set of rules and everybody else is just supposed to die so he can push up his numbers. How about it he stops farking around and acts like a leader already?

Who was responsible for America's response to the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor?

Was it:
A) The Emperor of Japan
B) The President of the United States

If we want our leaders to represent Americans, being under crushing debt seems reasonable

Heh. Except that Trump conned his fans into thinking he would "fix U.S.":

"I am "the king of debt."That has been great for me as a businessman, but is bad for the country. I made a fortune off of debt, will fix U.S."

Maybe he was thinking he could just have America declare bankruptcy. Worked for him as a business man; so he figures why not as president?

I actually didn't post what I said to be funny. I never thought Trump was a good businessman just like I don't think he's a good president opposed to his base which think he's both. Just figure he's stupid enough to think such a thing.

Imagine applauding $5.2 TRILLION in deficit spending to get negative GDP.

Applauding $2.9 TRILLION in Socialism to get negative GDP.
